In the summer of 2025, Engine No. 4 partnered with SJM Concerts to deliver the historic homecoming of Oasis, managing a high-capacity site for 80,000 fans per night and totalling 400,000 attendees across the residency. Our role centred on the strategic site design and social delivery of a stadium-level infrastructure within Heaton Park, ensuring that the immense scale of the event remained harmonised with the city’s daily operations and the park’s heritage.
Beyond physical site management, we led a comprehensive community impact and stakeholder liaison strategy to bridge the gap between world-class entertainment and civic responsibility. Working alongside Manchester City Council and TfGM, we consulted on complex traffic and travel plans to mitigate local disruption and managed proactive engagement with residents. By prioritizing transparent communication and meticulous site design, we ensured this cultural milestone was a logistical success that respected both the local community and the environment.
