Parklife is the UK’s largest metropolitan festival, with a capacity of 80,000 customers each day. Held for the last 6 years at Heaton Park in Manchester, Engine No 4 provides full-scale logistical planning including site management, site design, technical production, and has full operational control of the event. Our work on Parklife includes the production and advance of 9 major stages (running for 12 hours each day), compiling a comprehensive security plan with over 1000 on-site security, as well as managing a large gate infrastructure and transport plan. We also liaise with Manchester City Council as the landowner to license the event.
