Engine No.4 were the hired production company for the World’s first socially-distanced outdoor arena, following the Covid-19 pandemic. Engine No.4 helped to return 40 live concerts and comedy shows to audiences totalling 50,000, giving artists such as Sam Fender, The Libertines and Two Door cinema club the chance to perform once more.
Throughout the 6 week run, we worked closely with both local authorities and stakeholders, managing site design and operation (which consisted of 555 Covid safe viewing areas), technical production and event operations efficiently, whilst always remaining Covid-19 compliant. Our operational plans included the execution of a socially-distanced pick up and drop off point, customer car park and search and scan with distanced ingress and egress routes.
